Mediterra Institute

MEDITERRA Institute designs and 3D prints the medals for the first-ever ITTF World Esports Championships in Helsingborg, Sweden.

Proud to be part of history!

The first-ever ITTF World Esports Championships was not only a celebration of skill, sportsmanship, and the exciting future of VR table tennis, but also a step towards sustainability!

We at Mediterra Institute are thrilled to have crafted the trophies 🏆 and medals 🥇🥈🥉 for this groundbreaking event. What’s even more special? They were 3D-printed using filament made from recycled broken table tennis balls – giving old balls a second life and contributing to an eco-friendly future. 🌱♻️

In another historic first, the medals featured a binary system design, with:
🏆 1st place: 001
🥈 2nd place: 010
🥉 3rd place: 011
A perfect nod to the digital era of esports!

Congratulations to:
🏆 Champion: Antonin “Anto” Landreau
🥈 Silver Medallist: Maik “Aiphaton” Reusner
🥉 Bronze Medallist: Nicolas “Swiss11Rally” Champod

You’ve made table tennis and esports history! 👏🎮
